Blake Lively will be sharing screen time with Green Lantern in June, and Teen.com reports that she’ll then be deciding if she wants to take part in another fantastical journey or spend some time in down-to-earth reality.
Oliver Stone is looking for someone to take the role of a woman that’s taken hostage by two drug dealers in the movie Savages, and Blake is in talks with the director for the part, but she hasn’t accepted the role yet because another big name director, Sam Raimi, wants her to take a trip to Oz as Glinda the Good Witch.
Raimi’s Oz: The Great and Powerful is a prequel to the classic Wizard of Oz that shows how the man who will become the Wizard ends up in Oz, as well as revealing his first encounter with the witches. James Franco has signed on as the Wizard and Mila Kunis will be Theodora, one of Glinda’s witchy sisters.
Which role would you prefer to see Blake in? A kidnapped girlfriend of a drug dealer being held for ransom by a drug cartel or a powerful witch in a magical land? Personally, I’d like to see her take a trip down the yellow brick road.
