Blue Moon in over Oz ?

I was using the Ozmatron to do a search for any occurrences of a Blue Moon in the skies over Oz and nothing came up.

The moon itself shows up in most of the books by Baum but there is no mention of a Blue moon. Since a Blue Moon is defined, albeit incorrectly, as the second full moon in a calendar month, may we assume that there will never be a Blue Moon over Oz given the way the...

Still Need Help Identifying An Oz Book

This would have been a Wizard of Oz book that showed Dorothy on the
front cover, skipping along the yellow brick road, with a basket on her
arm, dressed in a blue gingham dress with apron, and, of course, the
red shoes. Dorothy is shown as a young woman more than a young girl and
not shown with any other character but Toto.  The picture is not in a
frame, either, but takes up the whole cover with the words "Wizard of
Oz" and L. Frank Baum written over the picture. I believe it...

Okay Ozfiles my Oz novel is coming along very well but I've got a very important question that I don't think was ever really covered by Baum... Does the Emerald City have indoor plumbing, running water and what we'd consider a modern sewage system?

Any hints in any sources? (drawing first for Baum... cause my books largely ignore everything from Thompson onword).

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea where in Kansas Dorothy was from. This information is for use with something else I'm doing but is still Oz related, and I need a location and zip code for. I don't think Baum ever mentioned it in the books nor do I think MGM took liberties with naming which county they lived in that Elmira Gulch owned. Hi new to the forums but long time Oz fan.

Actually my question is more a picture request. I am a tattooed lady. My left arm is devoted to my favorite stories, the Oz stories. So far I have poppies, Tik Toks key (I used a similer model to the one from Return to Oz), The Lonesome duck and the Glass Cat. I have several different things I want to incorporate and some I have pictures to and some I can't seem to find.

How often are flowers a recurring theme in the Oz books? Ozma is always pictured with poppies in her hair and there's the poppyfield of course and I'm remembering something about a flower that blooms as something different every time? Lost Princess of Oz was it? And I know Baum grew award winning mums. Has any research been done on flowers in Oz?

I'm working a novel exploring the whole Oz saga from Ozma's perspective... And one idea that struck me is that Ozma's birthday might not actually be August 21...

We arrive at this date by a conjunction of two lines from the Road to Oz:
